Infant Hall:

Microphones

  • Slide the switch to the on position.
  • You will need to adjust the individual MIC volumes. (MIC 1 – 2).
  • You can do this by checking the number on the MIC & referring to the number above the dials on the mixer.

Example:  MIC01 is too quiet, and needs to be louder. – Find MIC01 on the mixer and adjust the volume dial until the desired volume is achieved.

Desktop

  • Power on the desktop if off.
  • Log in as your domain account or use the visitor account details found above the rack on the wall.
  • Ensure the audio output on Windows it set to ‘Speakers/Headphones (Realtek®) Audio.’
  • Before altering the volume on the mixer please ensure that the desktop is at 100% & then alter the volume knob on the wall to the desired volume. 
  • The desktop is routed through ‘AUDIO IN’ on the mixer.

Projector

  • On / Off buttons can be found on the remote stored in the cabinet & have been labelled.
  • Raise & lower remote buttons can also be found here for the screen.
  • By default, the projector is plugged into the desktop and will mirror the display.
  • If there is no display on the projector, ensure the projector is on HDMI input.                                                      
  •  If there is still no display on the projector, please push Win + P on the keyboard. This will display a panel on the side of the screen, then click duplicate.

Bluetooth Audio

  • To pair a new device, select Bluetooth mode by using the ‘Source’ button.
  • Select Bluetooth settings on the device to be paired, then select ‘adastra_1000’ and pair to this device.
  • Once connected, you should be able to play music through the AV system.
  • To alter the volume, you can use either the dials on the device or the volume dial labelled BT on the mixer.

Mixer

  • Here you will find all the inputs for the Microphones, Desktop & Bluetooth audio.
  • The volume dials should be set at the 2 - 3 o’clock position for a reasonable level of audio without distortion.
  • On the far right by the power switch, you will find the master volume dial. This should be set to the same position to ensure a normal audio level.

 


Junior Hall:

Microphones

  • Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds or slide the switch to the on position.
  • Once the digital screen illuminates, you will need to adjust the individual handheld MIC volumes. (MIC 01 – 02 – 03 – 04).
  • You can do this by checking the number sticker on the handheld MIC & referring to the number on the dials for the mixer.

Example:  MIC01 is too quiet and needs to be louder. – Find MIC01 on the mixer rack and adjust the volume knob until the desired volume is achieved.


Desktop

  • Power on the desktop & monitor if off.
  • Log in as your domain account or use the visitor account details found above the rack on the wall.
  • Ensure the audio output on Windows is set to ‘Speakers/Headphones (Realtek®) Audio.’
  • Before altering the volume on the mixer please ensure the desktop is at 100% volume & then adjust the volume knob on the wall to the desired volume. 
  • The desktop is routed through ‘AUDIO IN’ (CH9/10) on the mixer.
  • DVD Playback - Please use VLC Player to playback DVD content via the desktop - This can be found in the start menu.



Projector

  • On / Off buttons can be found on the wall plate control & are labelled.
  • Raise & lower buttons can also be found here for the projector screen.
  • By default, the projector is plugged into the desktop and will mirror the display.
  • If there is no display on the projector, ensure the projector is on the HDMI input.                                                      
  •  If there is still no display on the projector, please push Windows Key + P on the keyboard. This will display a panel on the side of the screen, then click duplicate.



CD Player

  • Power on the CD player.
  • Use the front controls for cueing the desired track & playing/pausing status.
  • The volume can be altered using the volume knob in the rack labelled ‘CD INPUT’ (CH7/8) or by using the volume control knob on the wall.



Bluetooth Audio

  • To pair a new device, please push and hold the pair button for 10 seconds. You will hear an audible beep & the pair light will begin to flash.
  • Select Bluetooth settings on the device to be paired, then select ‘DN-200BR’ and pair to this device.
  • Once connected, you should now be able to play music through the AV system.
  • To alter the volume, you can use either the dials on the device or the volume knob on the wall.



Mixer

  • Here you will find all the inputs for the Microphones, CD player, Desktop & Bluetooth audio.
  • The volume knobs should be set at the 2 - 3 o’clock position for a reasonable level of audio without distortion.
  • On the far right by the power switch, you will find the master volume knob. This should be set to the same position to ensure a normal audio level. (The audio level should be controlled via the wall volume knob and not adjusted here)
