Please follow the 3-step guide below on how to convert your image.
Step 1: Add Your Images (Input Tab)
- Open XnConvert. (Found in the Media drive)
- Click on the Input tab (it's the first one on the left).
- Click the "Add files" button to select individual images, or "Add folder" to process all images in a folder. You can also drag and drop files directly into this area.
- Once added, you'll see a list of your input files.
Step 2: Set PNG Output (Output Tab)
- Click on the Output tab. This is where you tell XnConvert where to save the new files and in which format.
- Choose Output Folder: In the top section, under "Folder," click the ellipsis (...)button to select the location where you want your new PNG files to be saved.
- Tip: Save the converted files to a different folder than the originals to avoid confusion.
- Select PNG Format: Look for the "Format" dropdown menu and select "PNG - Portable Network Graphics"from the list.
- (Optional: You can click the "Settings" button next to the Format dropdown to adjust PNG-specific options like compression level, but the default settings are usually fine.)
- Filename: Optionally, adjust the "Filename" field if you want to rename your images during the conversion. Using {Filename} keeps the original name.
Step 3: Convert!
- Once you have selected your input images, chosen your output folder, and set the format to PNG, click the large Convert button (usually located in the bottom right corner of the window).
- The Status tab will open, showing you the progress and letting you know when the conversion is completed.
- Your new PNG images will be waiting in the output folder you specified!
